JIM WARREN TO DISPLAY INTRIGUING ARTISTRY IN KEY WEST MARCH 12-14

Master of imagination Jim Warren will appear as “artist in residence” at Wyland Galleries of Key West’s 623 Duval Street location Friday through Sunday, March 12 through 14. He will debut his latest images daily and by appointment all three days. Warren’s fertile imagination and passion for painting are evident in his canvases of fantasy and surrealism. During his more than 40 years of artistic creativity, his work has earned numerous honors including a Grammy Award for his cover painting for Bob Seger’s classic “Against the Wind” album. Influenced by musicians whose compositions tell a story, Warren creates images as unusual as they are appealing. Several years ago he entered into a unique collaboration with Russian pianist-composer Oksana Kolesnikova, who has composed many songs based on Warren works.
